A few more Easter treats........

 At the beginning of their "Bunny Trail"  ...........at our house the Easter bunny hides their baskets and leaves behind a trail made of peeps.  I'm not sure how this tradition started....but any excuse to BUY MORE PEEPS is fine with me!

and he caught on REAL FAST!  haha!

 It was A lovely RELAXING Easter.  We really tried to get the message across to the kids that it was about The SAVIOR and not the candy.  We even tried acting out the story.  They enjoyed making me be the donkey for Jesus to ride into the city on...and they really enjoyed giving out bread ad water and washing each others feet (with a dishcloth)......But I realized my error when Jeffy put out his hands for us to show where the nails went and he started to cry.  Ok.... to graphic maybe.   But we hoped they learned something........Sure enough when we were reading the scriptures last night and it was Jeffy's turn this is what he "read"  "and it came to pass...that Jesus died on the cross...and then Nephi died....and Jesus died on the cross."   (we were reading first Nephi)  Well...at least he remembered something =). 

Now if my Tulips would just bloom already!  Darn Utah freezing cold weather!
